EBLIDA is the European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations.
We are an independent umbrella association of library, information, documentation and archive associations and institutions in Europe, gathering some 110 members - library associations and institutions - from 34 countries representing 65,000 public libraries in Europe.
Subjects on which EBLIDA concentrates are European library legislation, including copyright & licensing, library impact on society, and Sustainable Development Goals in Europe.
We support unhindered access to information in the digital age and promote the role of archives and libraries within an equitable, democratic and sustainable society.
